Are you insured?

Yes, we are fully insured, including key cover. We are also disclosure checked and K9 First Aid trained for clients peace of mind.

How much do you charge?

How many dogs are walked at any one time? 

Our policy and Insurance covers us for 1 human per 6 dogs so there will never be more than 6 dogs on any Group Walks, Adventure Walks or Doggy Day Care.

Will I meet my dog walker?

Yes. We offer a free face-to-face initial consultation in order to understand your dog’s personality and needs. This will also give you the chance to get to know Forth Valley Dog Walking, and ask any questions you might have and find out how things work.

What do I do if I need to cancel?

You can cancel or amend your walks at anytime by telephone, messenger or email. Please give us 48 hours notice, cancellations after this may still be charged.

What will happen in case of emergency?

In the unlikely event of an emergency, we will immediately call and notify you. In the original consultation, we ensure that we have all the family emergency contact details. If veterinary assistance is needed, we will take your dog to your named vet or, depending on the circumstances, to the nearest possible one.

What happens if my dog doesn't get along with another dog?

We carefully select which dogs will walk together, if we find an imbalance within the group we will switch accordingly and inform you of our decision. We want all of our dogs to enjoy their walk. In the event that your dog is not suitable for Group Walks we will offer Solo Walks.

I only require occasional walks, can you still help?

For Solo Walks we have no minimum booking requirements so yes we can still help. However if you wish to book Group Walks we require a minimum of 1 booking per week, this helps to ensure our groups run smoothly and minimises over excitement within the group.

Do you offer home boarding?

No, we currently do not offer this service however we are happy to recommend Evelyn at Barkmoral for Home Boarding and you can find details here.

What happens in bad weather?

Walks go ahead even in the rain! If it becomes apparent that we are expecting adverse weather such as heavy snow, thunder storms, extreme heat etc, you will be notified if our services have to be delayed, changed or cancelled.

Do you walk dogs offlead?

Yes, however you must sign the consent form and your dog must have good recall and behave in reasonable manner whilst offlead.

Can you administer my pets medication?

Yes, we are happy to administer your pets medication in accordance with your written instructions.

Do you accept all breeds of dog?

Yes! We love and accept all breeds, no discrimination here!

What days do you operate?

We operate Monday to Friday. Weekend bookings are only available for regular clients by prior arrangement.

Do I need to be at home?

No, most of our clients entrust us with a copy of their keys so we can access the property whilst they are at work etc.

Where do you walk?

We only disclose our walk locations to our clients which we are happy to discuss anytime.

Will I receive updates?

Yes, we post pictures and videos of all our walks on our Facebook page which you can view here.
